Howard Nemeroff specializes in designing and implementing tax plans for commercial and personal transactions as well as estates. He has extensive experience in tax law, corporate and commercial law, contracts, offshore structures, wills trusts, cross-border transactions and the like.
Howard Nemeroff was born and raised in Montreal. He attended McGill University, obtaining a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in 1970 and then his law degree in 1973. Howard Nemeroff was called to the Bar in 1974.
He is Vice-President of the Canadian Deafness Research and Training Institute and was Vice President of Temple Emanu-El Beth Sholom 1995-1997. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Barreau du Québec, the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the International Fiscal Association, the Association Quebecoise de planification fiscale et successorale, the Estate and Financial Council of Montreal and the Lord Reading Law Society in which he has been a director since 1985 and was the membership chairman from 1986 to 1992.
